About
Jake Blanchard Jurchak is a fashion and textile designer based in the Southern United States. She is currently completing her final year at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she is developing and executing an industry-level collection as part of her senior studies.

With a multidisciplinary approach to design, Jake has explored a range of creative fields including fashion design, styling, and accessory design. Her work is informed by extensive concept development, material experimentation, and a strong narrative sensibility.

Deeply inspired by the haunting history of the American South, Jake’s designs draw from the region’s complex cultural history often referred to as the “Dead South” to create evocative, atmospheric pieces that balance tradition with contemporary expression. She is actively seeking post-graduate opportunities within the fashion industry where she can continue to refine her craft and contribute a distinctive Southern-gothic perspective to modern design.
